During a print, you can adjust precisely the position of the head along the Z-axis to get a perfect first layer. To get access to this feature, go to Print and then tap on the Baby steps button:
The following panel is displayed:
- Choose the increment on the right part. In general, it is better to use the smallest one (0.2 mm)
- Tap on the arrows up and down to move the head
- The current Z-offset is displayed between the two arrows
- Tap on the Back button to go back to the Print panel
IMPORTANT
- The change is effective immediately when you press the up or down button.
- Those changes are not performed suddently but smoothly by the firmware.
- If you have a bed sensor such as a BLTouch, these changes are saved as the new Z-offset of the sensor.
